Welcome to the 4WP website!

The 4th Worcester Park Scout Group was founded in 1933 and is a part of the Sutton District within the UK Scout County of Greater London South West. The Sutton and Cheam District was merged with the Wallington and Carshalton District during 2004 to form a single Sutton District.

This Web site was created on 15 August 2002 to provide a focal point for information relating to the group.

Latest figures (2008): There are 207 Group members/children (excluding Explorer Scouts)

This is made up of:

  • 3 Beaver Colonies - 48 beavers
  • 3 Cub Packs - 52 cubs
  • 2 Scout Troops - 30 scouts
  • 33 Adult leaders and helpers
  • 39 Fellowship
  • 5 Additional Group Executive members
  • Explorer Scouts - the Explorer section belongs to the District and is not included in the Group figures

Plus there are the following non-Scouting sections within the Group

  • Friends of the Fourth Group
  • Parents and Friends Fundraising Group
