Scout4x4 Service Crew
Born out of a passion for something different yet something to do with Scouts. A group of like minded people with a varying amount of 4x4 knowledge, experience and vehicles got together and formed the Scout4x4 you see today. Scout4x4 is part of the Scout Active Support Unit based within the Group. Its not all work and no play at Scout4x4, with plenty of exciting activities happening to sink our teeth into there is something for everyone. So who said Scout Active Support was dull? Get involved in the most exciting new Active Support Unit to hit Scouting. Scout4x4 and the Emergency Services As part of our commitment to serving the community and showing Scouting in a positive light, is our support of Surrey Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service. We are currently working with these 2 agencies to provide volunteer support when extremes of weather are upon us, such as the snow in February and when specialist vehicles are required for crime scene access and also for special events. During the snow over the last 2 years we have done over 3000 miles on behalf of Surrey Police, SECAMB and Meals on Wheels in Sutton.
We have also been known to help out fellow Scouters and Friends - GET ME TO THE CHURCH ON TIME, Saturday 18th December 2010, Congratulations to Karl and Laura, glad we could help........
