| Groups within the 4th | Add content to the pages that have been set up for the groups using content provided by the groups. |

| 2006-8 | The site is gradually being amended to bring it in line with UK/EU disability discrimination regulations. |
| 2006/7 | Microsoft FrontPage provided an easy way to quickly create a web site but resultrd in large and therefore slow HTML that is difficult to maintain. The site was gradually rewritten using standard HTML and CSS apart from the older news pages which will be brought into line as time allows. |
| Jul 2006 | Microsoft FrontPage dependencies removed and recoding to remove FrontPage code started. |
| Dec 2005 | Search facility added. |
| Dec 2003 | Site hosting changed from Blueyonder to InitialSite to increase space available and provide more flexible facilities for future growth. Free site hosting and management by InitialSite. |
| Nov 2003 | Photos section added to bring together the various photographs that were starting to build up in various parts of the site. |
| Aug 2003 | Explorer page added and scouting section pages reformatted to make badge location pictures more visible. |
| May 2003 | All e-mail address links removed and '@' sign in addresses replaced by '(at)' due to 'spam'. As usual in life, the inconsiderate few make it difficult for the majority. |
| Mar 2003 | New business links moved from home page due to slow loading times. |
| Jan 2003 | Links added for Allders, Opodo, Boots, WH Smith and Marks & Spencer. Default text font changed to 10 pitch to reduce the need for scrolling. Home page restyled to preview content of other pages. |
| Nov 2002 | Individual Amazon links added to provide Scouts-specific items and increase commission rate. |

| Colour of page banner changed to silver on purple. Colour of heading levels 1 and 3 changed to match purple of banner background. | |
| Server reset to provide access to Microsoft FrontPage server extensions. Hit counter and membership form added using the extended functionality. | |
| Aug 2002 | Outline structure created using Microsoft FrontPage 2000. Populated with the last copy of the 4WP News, latest calendar plus basic pages for each of the sections within the Group. A variation of a default style was used to enable the site to be active quickly. The style is likely to change as a result of feedback received. |
| Site 'live' using some dummy pages of official scouts graphics. First e-mail sent to webmaster(at)4wp.org.uk to confirm the address works. | |
