Platinum Jubilee celebrations at the 4th

We are holding our celebration on Sunday the 22nd May from noon onwards on the field at the 4th. There will be sandwiches, cakes and a bar selling Pimms, wine and beer. Fun activities will follow on the field.

If you have not yet replied and would like to attend, then can you please reply by the end of Tuesday (the 17th) as we have some shopping to do and some preparation.

I need to hear from everyone who wishes to attend with the number of guests. Letters have been sent out as have emails. If needs be just email your section leader with the names of those attending asap.

I do hope that you can join in the fun.

Scouts Own Sunday the 22nd May at 11am

Before the fun on the field, it is our summer term Scouts Own. This is for all the family and the Explorer unit will be leading and afterwards there will be a going up ceremony and there are awards to be presented.

At the end of the Scouts Own there will be the opportunity to have a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of squash. To accompany your drinks, Oliver and James Benghiat will be running a cake stall to raise money for their trip to the World Jamboree next year.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
