About us

Welcome to the 4th Worcester Park Scout Group. Home to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorers in the Worcester Park Area of Sutton District.

We are an active and community based Scout Group situated in the Northwestern part of The London Borough of Sutton. We are part of the Sutton Scout District, which in turn is part of the Greater London South West Scout County.

We host all the sections from age 6 up to the age of 18 working in partnership with The Worcester Park (Argonauts) Explorer Scout Unit.

The 4th Worcester Park was formed in 1933 by a small group of young People and their parents, they secured the land and access which we still occupy today. Over the last 80 years we have built on their inspiration and foresight making us one of the biggest groups in the country.

We still have a founding member as part of the group. We are proud to carry on their legacy and to continue to serve and to play an active part in our community.

Scouting provides fun, challenge and adventure to over 500,000 members, and all of their leaders in the United Kingdom. Every Scout Group in the UK is dependent on its volunteers, so any help that you can give us in any form would be brilliant – even if it’s just an hour a month!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
